Bloggers Fashion Week

Hi everyone!

Wearrior A here! I hope all of you were as excited as we were for our final addition to the Wearrior family, Fez. He's a close friend to Wearrior M and I've been following him on his social media accounts for a while now. He's always had a great sense of style and is very passionate about it. I am very happy and excited for both Fez and Alia to share their style and fashion experience on Wearrior Instinct in the future!

Today I'll be sharing with you guys a bit about my experience with the Bloggers Fashion Week I attended a few weeks ago. This weekend's post will also be about the  Bloggers Fashion Week, but will consist of reviews by both me and Wearrior Alia of the products we got to take home from the event!

I'm not sure if you're all aware of The Bloggers Fashion Week and what it's about. Thanks to the fabulous Lenny Pham for introducing me to Bloggers Love, I got the amazing opportunity to find out for myself!

I signed up for Day 1 of Bloggers Fashion Week which included activities such as; a creative writing booth, beauty product swap and blog design/ social media booth by COMB. There were also gifting booths for bloggers to take home new products to review! It was a bloggers dream come true! In addition to that, Day 1 featured a fashion show showcasing SS15 looks by designers Cecille London, Joe Browns and Liza Veta. (Scroll down to find a video of the Bloggers Fashion Show Season 3, which also featured bloggers on the catwalk! Spot one of the Bohemian Brighties strutting the catwalk! ).

I had a great time at the event. It was fun to discover new brands and designers. The atmosphere was also pretty great, the DJ for the night DJ Fabienne was perfect! She set the mood perfectly and was super down to earth and easy to talk to!

It's always fantastic to be around people who share the same passion as you. What was even more amazing, was to see the intense support bloggers get especially from Bloggers Love! Surely would recommend this event to the fashion and beauty bloggers out there!

Now finally, of course what's a Wearrior Instinct post without OOTDs?

Wearrior Alia // Photo by Haziq Ghafar.
The first outfit is by our very own Wearrior Alia. She is looking effortlessly chic in a black turtle neck and skinnies which were paired with her black leather Vagabonds. My favourite was her longline coat in nude from Zara. Welcoming the spring season, Alia completed her look with a gorgeous Fedora and added colour to her outfit with a printed handbag.

Yes everyone! We have the amazing Lady Zaza for our second OOTD. She went bold with layering grid on grid at the Bloggers Fashion Week. Loving the mesh of different textures and the combo! She also stacked necklaces to finish her look. Lady Zaza never disappoints!

Our third OOTD is by our favourite Youtube Vlogger and Lifestyle blogger, Haziq Ghafar. Going for classy, Haziq wore a black blazer over a white shirt paired with dark red chinos. Finishing off his look, Haziq slipped on a red scarf for that smart look. (Detailed outfit info at

Lastly, here's my OOTD for the Bloggers Fashion Week event! I really couldn't make up my mind of what look I wanted to go for. In the end, I knew one thing was for sure: black was the answer. I experimented a bit with shapes in this look. I wore a peplum top  and paired it with high waisted skinnies. I then put on this obi waist belt which accentuated my waist and the peplum shape. To polish off my look, I went for my cropped leather jacket. As for shoes, my Vagabonds were my first choice for comfort and style.

Here's a short video of the looks from the fashion show!

This weekend, I'll be posting reviews of products from:

Wish me luck for my exams coming up very soon! Stay tuned for this weekend and have a fantastic Easter!

Hello! Welcome to Wearrior Instinct. I'm Ainul! My style is described best as 'mix and match'. Fashion, to me, is a form of self expression. I dress for myself and I love exploring new and different ways to do it. I believe strongly that we all have the potential to be the best we can be; all we have to do is to follow our (Wearrior) Instinct.

Hey! I'm Mu'izz. I'm currently taking my masters degree in Political Science at UCL. I would probably say that my fashion style is best described as "Good-boy Oxford look" and I love colours. Although, I am preppy for most of the time, I do also like to mix elements from other fashion style. Right now, I am exploring more of the urban style. For me, Fashion is a platform that expresses and embraces one's individuality. Hopefully, it will inspire you to wear your (Wearrior) instinct! – I am on a research leave at the moment, I will be back soon!

Hi! I’m Alia Alkaff, a 20-year-old Graphic Design undergraduate at Norwich University of the Arts. Black enthusiast and a lover of all things minimalistic, which also happens to best describe my style of Fashion. With being a part of Wearrior Instinct it has encouraged me greatly to be proud of what I wear and I hope we as a team will have that effect to bring out your inner Wearrior Instinct!

My name is Faiz, but most people call me Fez. I studied at the the University of Leeds and graduated in 2015. I currently run a pop-up based coffee business called Aoyama Coffee. My interests in fashion lie more in on streetwear - and bridging the gap between it and menswear. I'm a fan of the little things in labels that set them apart from others, and my taste is a little unconventional, to say the least. I'm also really into raw denim. I should mention that I'm on hiatus at the moment - but I will be back!

Oh hi there! I run a YouTube channel called AMSAIMA, where I create beauty and styling vlogs. I like to think of my fashion sense as multifaceted - I could dress to the nines with textured garments, look quirky while donning a pair of boyfriend jeans, or go for an alternative retro. Wearrior Instinct doesn’t just provide a space for me to document my looks and write about the pieces I’ve put together, but as I’m all about body positivity, I see this as an opportunity where confidence can be both built and encouraged. Lots of love, Amalsaima (or simply, Amal).
