Surprise! Hi everyone, the wait is over! I hope I haven't disappointed too many people yet, so far. Recently I've had some people have been asking as to whether or not I'm the final Wearrior. I guess now I can safely say that it's true. For those who aren't that familiar, my name is Fez, though my (most recent) Internet presence goes by as '02Fez'.

Before I move onto talking about my outfit, I guess I'll mention a little bit about myself. My interests in fashion lie in bridging the gap between streetwear and menswear. If that makes any sense. I like little details and substance in different brands and labels.

Jacket - Footpatrol x Ebbets Field Flannels
This jacket is one of my favorites, and was a birthday gift from my best friend, Mohammad Abdullah. Footpatrol, a sneaker store in London, is one of my favorite stores and I almost always visit it whenever I'm down in London, even if I'm not looking to buy anything. The jacket fits a little differently than most I've tried, and initially when I first wore it I didn't really think I could pull it off well, though I guess in the end it turned out fine once I got used to the fit? Its sleeves are a little longer than the main body, but I guess it makes good for layering as a result. The jacket also came with a patch that you could print or sew on yourself, which I thought was really cool.

Pins (on the left side) are from one of my favorite brands, Supreme.

Shirt - Uniqlo Flannel
I love a good flannel shirt. Aside from the colours and patterns that are possible with them, I think it's also important to consider the quality. I've bought a few flannel and check shirts throughout the years, but I think few compare to this one. Some have shrunk and pilling of the material is also a problem I've encountered. Given the relatively low price of the ones available from Uniqlo, I'd say they bring excellent value.

Jeans - 13oz Japanese Selvedge Denim
I also have a keen interest in denim, particularly raw and selvedge denim. I'm particularly interested in the weight and the overall fit and construction of different jeans. Recently I've been more interested in heavier denim, in my opinion there's just something about the feel of the weight, and the way it stacks I suppose.

Shoes - Adidas x Solebox EQT
Most people know me as a sneakerhead, which is true, I guess. I'm a big fan of shoes and shoe collaborations. I don't have a lot of Adidas but I'm a big fan of Solebox, which is a store in Germany which is big in the sneakerhead scene, known for their collabs in the past as well. I've always wanted to own a Solebox collab, having missed out on most of them in the past due to the competitive nature of the sneaker game, but I'm glad I got these, courtesy of my good friend, Hafiz 'Fizzi' Haslen.

I suppose that's all for my first post, until next time then. Last but not least, I want to thank Wearrior Mu'izz and Ainul for inviting me to be part of this.

    1. Hey Lenny, thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate it. The denim game's really cool in my opinion, and if you're interested in learning more I would suggest website likes or, I'm still a newbie in it myself though and am in no way an expert on the topic. Regardless I'm sure you can find something that'll work for you, everyone starts somewhere after all :-)

Wearrior Biographies

Hello! Welcome to Wearrior Instinct. I'm Ainul! My style is described best as 'mix and match'. Fashion, to me, is a form of self expression. I dress for myself and I love exploring new and different ways to do it. I believe strongly that we all have the potential to be the best we can be; all we have to do is to follow our (Wearrior) Instinct.

Hey! I'm Mu'izz. I'm currently taking my masters degree in Political Science at UCL. I would probably say that my fashion style is best described as "Good-boy Oxford look" and I love colours. Although, I am preppy for most of the time, I do also like to mix elements from other fashion style. Right now, I am exploring more of the urban style. For me, Fashion is a platform that expresses and embraces one's individuality. Hopefully, it will inspire you to wear your (Wearrior) instinct! – I am on a research leave at the moment, I will be back soon!

Hi! I’m Alia Alkaff, a 20-year-old Graphic Design undergraduate at Norwich University of the Arts. Black enthusiast and a lover of all things minimalistic, which also happens to best describe my style of Fashion. With being a part of Wearrior Instinct it has encouraged me greatly to be proud of what I wear and I hope we as a team will have that effect to bring out your inner Wearrior Instinct!

My name is Faiz, but most people call me Fez. I studied at the the University of Leeds and graduated in 2015. I currently run a pop-up based coffee business called Aoyama Coffee. My interests in fashion lie more in on streetwear - and bridging the gap between it and menswear. I'm a fan of the little things in labels that set them apart from others, and my taste is a little unconventional, to say the least. I'm also really into raw denim. I should mention that I'm on hiatus at the moment - but I will be back!

Oh hi there! I run a YouTube channel called AMSAIMA, where I create beauty and styling vlogs. I like to think of my fashion sense as multifaceted - I could dress to the nines with textured garments, look quirky while donning a pair of boyfriend jeans, or go for an alternative retro. Wearrior Instinct doesn’t just provide a space for me to document my looks and write about the pieces I’ve put together, but as I’m all about body positivity, I see this as an opportunity where confidence can be both built and encouraged. Lots of love, Amalsaima (or simply, Amal).
