Hello, everyone!

I was actually supposed to post two weeks ago. However, I have been drowning in all my university work. But, I've just submitted my last undergraduate essay! I'm still trying to comprehend that I am officially done with my undergraduate degree. Okay, enough about me. Let's move on to the outfit that I have decided to show to you guys this week.

This is actually a throwback outfit in Summer 2014, where I have worked with one of my good buddy – Amin Nordin.  I had a fun time working with him and most of his shots are amazing.

A complete contrast from my preppy and dapper outfit from the 'Double Trouble' post, this one is definitely for the summer season. I have decided to combine two distinct colours together – Red and Green. Hence, now that explains the title being called 'Elf'.

Shirt: Hollister
Chinos: Minimum
Belt: ASOS
Shoes: Lacoste

I personally love striped shirts. There's just something about alluring and striking about it. Hollister shirts are generally very comfortable to wear and the combination of white and red is classic. It just looks very pleasant to the eye. There's also this illusion, where striped shirts can make you look a bit bigger than you actually do. I guess, in that case, it's good for me.

Upon seeing the bright red striped shirt, I knew I wanted to combine it with another distinct colour. So, I chose this Jade coloured chinos from Minimum. Minimum have a range of wonderful coloured chinos, do check them out! The material is different, less comfortable, than the usual chinos I have, but it's still quite good for me. I am not afraid of combining two bold colours together, I think people should venture out and try out colours, to find which one suits them! And oh, I have tucked it in, to show the skinny white belt from ASOS (plus, I kinda want it to have a preppy element to it).

Another alternative, I would recommend would yellow coloured chinos to combine with the red striped shirt. It would give a much calmer effect.

As for the shoes, it's an off-white plimsoll from Lacoste. It's been featured in a previous called "The Magic with Coloured Pants." I am very biased with white shoes, I have lots of them. Even though, I end up making them dirty, I can't seem to get enough of it. White shoes just match everything, in general, I guess probably that's why I really love them.

Overall, the combination of all red, green and white just creates the image of an Elf.

That is all from me for this week! I'll be back soon.

Stay tuned for Wearrior Fez, next week!

Hello! Welcome to Wearrior Instinct. I'm Ainul! My style is described best as 'mix and match'. Fashion, to me, is a form of self expression. I dress for myself and I love exploring new and different ways to do it. I believe strongly that we all have the potential to be the best we can be; all we have to do is to follow our (Wearrior) Instinct.

Hey! I'm Mu'izz. I'm currently taking my masters degree in Political Science at UCL. I would probably say that my fashion style is best described as "Good-boy Oxford look" and I love colours. Although, I am preppy for most of the time, I do also like to mix elements from other fashion style. Right now, I am exploring more of the urban style. For me, Fashion is a platform that expresses and embraces one's individuality. Hopefully, it will inspire you to wear your (Wearrior) instinct! – I am on a research leave at the moment, I will be back soon!

Hi! I’m Alia Alkaff, a 20-year-old Graphic Design undergraduate at Norwich University of the Arts. Black enthusiast and a lover of all things minimalistic, which also happens to best describe my style of Fashion. With being a part of Wearrior Instinct it has encouraged me greatly to be proud of what I wear and I hope we as a team will have that effect to bring out your inner Wearrior Instinct!

My name is Faiz, but most people call me Fez. I studied at the the University of Leeds and graduated in 2015. I currently run a pop-up based coffee business called Aoyama Coffee. My interests in fashion lie more in on streetwear - and bridging the gap between it and menswear. I'm a fan of the little things in labels that set them apart from others, and my taste is a little unconventional, to say the least. I'm also really into raw denim. I should mention that I'm on hiatus at the moment - but I will be back!

Oh hi there! I run a YouTube channel called AMSAIMA, where I create beauty and styling vlogs. I like to think of my fashion sense as multifaceted - I could dress to the nines with textured garments, look quirky while donning a pair of boyfriend jeans, or go for an alternative retro. Wearrior Instinct doesn’t just provide a space for me to document my looks and write about the pieces I’ve put together, but as I’m all about body positivity, I see this as an opportunity where confidence can be both built and encouraged. Lots of love, Amalsaima (or simply, Amal).
