Kool Kenzo

I am very happy to be posting back again, and this time, it is indeed another collaboration with Fifi Hasman from The Rustic Trove. I fell in love with her film photography skills and it is someone that captures the essence of clothes, and most importantly my style.

All of us have been super duper busy. I have assignments and exams to revise for at the moment. Same goes for the rest too. So, I speak on behalf of the rest. Apologies.

As one of the two wearriors who are currently living in the U.K, it has been very cold, and now it's transitioning into spring, yet it is still freezing (explains why I am still wearing a coat).

Anyways, today's post involves a brand that I find to be very cool – KENZO. It's very edgy, it's fresh and most of the time, it's just very kool to see.

I personally love this coat. I first saw it with a good friend of mine, where we were literally gawking at the coat during New Years. It's absolutely eye-catching to see because of the design and the colour of the coat. I would say the shade of brown is sun-kissed oak? or you can just simply say brown. Anyways, for all my coats and jackets, the buttons are exposed, whereas for this coat the buttons are concealed inside the linings. Thus, it gives such a sophisticated look.

I think you guys have probably noticed the affinity I have towards white shirts. However, for this white shirt, its collar is the wing-up type. It gives a more formal and sophisticated look. I got this from ASOS because I know for a fact, they make white shirts that fit my body very well. Moreover, it has its perks, for just 9.99 GBP per year, you always have next day delivery here!

I have combined it with an electric blue coloured sweater from KENZO and really loud shoutout to my friend Syafiq Tuah for introducing me this! I thought the combination of the blue and brown just gives a really really unique look. It gives more life to the whole outfit by having such strong colour. On the biased side, I have always loved blue.

Sweater: KENZO
Well well well... what else is new with me? I basically bought another white Ralph Lauren shoe. This type, the material is different, it is water-proof and much more durable. And what could go wrong with white shoes?

Looking at the overall outfit, I knew that I wanted to go for the smart casual look. So, I added a snapback cap from Ménage, a Malaysian brand that you guys should check out.

I was very happy with the whole outcome of the outfit combination. I thought this would be perfect for someone who wants to look smart, yet looks casual at the same time. The colours that I have chosen is also not outrageous – rather it is quite 'out there' with such subtlety.

To end this post, I just wanted to say, well Spring and Summer is coming. So be prepared to see more colours from me.

  1. The color combination of the outfits are chosen very decently and smartly as they are making the boy look smart and handsome yet decent enough and comptable with the season. Some of it's credit also goes to the photographer, who captured the style and essence of outfits very skillfuly.

  2. Great job for publishing such a nice article. Your article isn’t only useful but it is additionally really informative. Thank you because you have been willing to share information with us. Premium Snapback Cap for Sale Online

Wearrior Biographies

Hello! Welcome to Wearrior Instinct. I'm Ainul! My style is described best as 'mix and match'. Fashion, to me, is a form of self expression. I dress for myself and I love exploring new and different ways to do it. I believe strongly that we all have the potential to be the best we can be; all we have to do is to follow our (Wearrior) Instinct.

Hey! I'm Mu'izz. I'm currently taking my masters degree in Political Science at UCL. I would probably say that my fashion style is best described as "Good-boy Oxford look" and I love colours. Although, I am preppy for most of the time, I do also like to mix elements from other fashion style. Right now, I am exploring more of the urban style. For me, Fashion is a platform that expresses and embraces one's individuality. Hopefully, it will inspire you to wear your (Wearrior) instinct! – I am on a research leave at the moment, I will be back soon!

Hi! I’m Alia Alkaff, a 20-year-old Graphic Design undergraduate at Norwich University of the Arts. Black enthusiast and a lover of all things minimalistic, which also happens to best describe my style of Fashion. With being a part of Wearrior Instinct it has encouraged me greatly to be proud of what I wear and I hope we as a team will have that effect to bring out your inner Wearrior Instinct!

My name is Faiz, but most people call me Fez. I studied at the the University of Leeds and graduated in 2015. I currently run a pop-up based coffee business called Aoyama Coffee. My interests in fashion lie more in on streetwear - and bridging the gap between it and menswear. I'm a fan of the little things in labels that set them apart from others, and my taste is a little unconventional, to say the least. I'm also really into raw denim. I should mention that I'm on hiatus at the moment - but I will be back!

Oh hi there! I run a YouTube channel called AMSAIMA, where I create beauty and styling vlogs. I like to think of my fashion sense as multifaceted - I could dress to the nines with textured garments, look quirky while donning a pair of boyfriend jeans, or go for an alternative retro. Wearrior Instinct doesn’t just provide a space for me to document my looks and write about the pieces I’ve put together, but as I’m all about body positivity, I see this as an opportunity where confidence can be both built and encouraged. Lots of love, Amalsaima (or simply, Amal).
